In January, we accompanied the Mayor of Hereford with a team of Hereford City Councillors on a fact-finding trip to the city of Jaworzno in Poland, with the hope of the two cities twinning.
We were approached by the Mayor to document their trip to use the imagery for local press releases and council reports, and to showcase what we accomplished from the trip to Jaworzno.
Establishing a documenting report was key for the Mayor and his team, as it provided visual feedback of what the region was accomplishing, a lot of which they hoped to implement in Hereford, including the introduction of an all electric bus system.
Along with visiting Jaworzno, we also visited the neighbouring city of Krakow. A city seeped in history and culture, it is the home of the world famous Wieliczka Salt Mine and Tyskie Brewery, both a strong representation of successful tourism initiatives.
Post-trip, our imagery was used in local reports from the Hereford Times, Herefordshire Live, Your Herefordshire, Hereford Voice as well as many others. A presentation was issued to the Hereford City Council with a strong backing for the marriage of the two cities to go ahead.
Hereford now welcomes the Mayor of Jaworzno and his team to visit Hereford, which we look forward to documenting!
